We will tell you one of our deepest secret… but promise you will not tell it to anyone… before becoming wedding photographers, we were professional exotic dancers! Yup you read that right!!! XD We used to wear pareos, grass skirts, coco shells, beat some Hawaiian percussions and dance hula and fire dance!!! The archipelago of Hawaii has a special place in our hearts, we are passionate about their dances, music (ohhh we collect ukuleles from different parts of the world, every time we travel), food and culture and waves… specially those giant ones during winter in North Shore… spectacular!!! So when Hilary and Jeff emailed us about their elopement… we didn’t even think twice… we blindly jumped on their crazy adventure!!! Of course! Oahu is an island with a unique beauty and character… but oh my goodness, the North Shore of Oahu, this place is just mind blowing!!! We haven’t seen such a beautiful place <3 <3 <3 Hilary and Jeff decided to elope in Waimea Valley in the North Shore with their closest family… there were 13 in total including us :) YEHEY! Love this kind intimate atmosphere… human beings tend to be more emotional in this intimate settings rather than a wedding with a big guests list. So from the beginning of the day we were expecting a lot of happy tears splashing through out the whole day…
If there are two things in a wedding day that we will not get tired of seeing again and again, that will be the father and bride moment and the groom´s reaction while he sees the bride walking down the isle… But still our all time fave will be the father and bride moment. Why? Because the father and bride moment is a very special and emotional moment for the father as he sees her little daughter turning into a beautiful lady in a beautiful gown and just doesn’t want to let go of her little baby and while the bride looks at her father, the man whom she first loved… as he gently cries from his heart…
